超没品!!!

Not that my heart is black, just that the one staying in 4th floor are really very terrible. I was forced to throw my tantrum on them.
This is not the first time such things happened. Before this, Hui Hui and Kia Ing they all pernah kena. Today we kena again. This time even worse, pour the water from the corridor's drainage hole. Then the water slowly flowed through the hole which full of germ and shit, then first dropped on Kia Ing's mattress followed by my almost 99% dried clothes. WTF!!! The water that normally dripped off from their clothes already considered very bad, now even worse.
Warning paper had been given out and oral warning had been passed to the innocent witnesses who stayed in 4th floor. Hopefully it won't happen again, or else...

早到不行的团圆饭 ^^

Yesterday had a simple yet warm dinner. Initially, we almost cancel this annual event due to some reasons, yet with everyone's effort, finally we had done it.

The venue had been changed again and again. End up, we back to this place, the place where many batches of ASP had had their reunion dinner here.I think Charles they all already makan till sien liao.haha~ However, no matter where and how the dishes taste, I think the main purpose is still to have a gathering and interaction among all JASPERS, especially with the involvement of one super senior, who has had her reunion dinner in ASP for 5 years, new record ler. keke ;p

I always heard my friend from other course complained that though their course is big, but not as unite as us and really jealous us. It is true. Though ASP is a small course, yet each and everyone of us are very unite. We share together, we sampat together, we camwhore together,etc... All these memories are so precious and unique.

Really had a great fun gathered together with seniors and juniors, especially 4th year, who will be leaving ASP after this final sem. Hereby, I wish all the 4th year seniors, good luck in your thesis and final sem. See you all in convo 2010 ^-^

REUNION-a long lost of 10 year best friend

The next day after reaching NCL, she still got her unfinished sem and I also did have my unfinished journey to go. What's next? hehe... is to meet my a best friend of mine who have been lost contact and never meet with each other for 10 years.

That day is Monday. After having a luxurious English breakfast made by her, I sent her off. I took cab that she had booked to NCL train station. wuwu...can't wait to meet her. Who is this mysterious girl? hehe ;p She is best friend of mine in primary school. We were classmates since primary one and continue till primary five where she transferred to Ipoh with her family. That time I was really sad as she is such a lovely friend. Though we were always stiff competitor in academic, but still with her charming charisma, she always protected me with her good characteristics. I still remembered once, where I was the 班长 in class. Then one of our classmate tease me why am I qualified to become
班长 since I am not the first rating in class. I was so nervous and did not know what to say. Then here came she. She stood out and said, " Who says 班长 must be the top student in class? Anyone could be 班长." Then she turned to me and told me just ignore that guy who teased me. She always like that, always good in advising people and know how to help people in needs. She is really my best friend.

Sadly, she had to transferred school to Ipoh, following her family shift. Since after that, we had not been meeting each other. She did leave her house phone to us, but we did not have chance to call each other as timing not right and during those time, it took great courage to call a person through phone.haha~ Slowly, her image disappeared from my mind, till in F6, she found me back through Friendster. Then only I knew that, all this while, she had been putting a lot of effort to find back those primary school old friends. I was so touched and excited when received her friend request. I really never thought of that before. She is such a loyal friend and 念旧。

Back to NCL. I took train from NCL to Manchester. She picked me up at Piccadilly. Before that, we were very excited and so looking forward this reunion. I even thought of whether can she recognice my face not.haha~ The moment I stepped down train, I saw her from far. She was waving at me as well. OMG, I had not been seeing this friend since 1998 and now already end of 2009. Wow, is 11 years apart ler. Can you imagine that?

I hug her the moment I saw her. Both of us were so happy.
That time already around 2++pm. She quickly brought me to Manchester United Stadium- Old Trafford Stadium. Though she had been following the stadium tour before, but still she was willing to bring me there. After buying ticket, I join the tour while she waited me at cafe. This tour lasted 1hour+. I really felt sorry to let her wait long, but after the tour, she looked alright and some more asked me did I enjoy it. She is such a lovely girl.

Real
ly excited to join the stadium tour, where I can see a lot of trophies and awards that MU had won before. We even went to players' changing room. I also managed to take photos with Owen and Rooney's jersey. Then, I had the chance to walk through every corner of the stadium and even get a closer look at the stadium's field, where all the great MU players fight for their glory, including David Bechkam. Then I spent 10 pounds buying 2 caps for my 2 siblings as souvenirs. Can't help, they had been bising me for souvenirs since before I left for London. sien diao~

Back to my 老友, after the tour, we went to Salford Shopping Mall, where a lot of christmas lights had been put on. Really is my 福气 to visit Europe in christmas, can enjoy so many different types of decorations as well as christmas feel. We took photos non-stop.haha~ as usual. Later on, we had our dinner here. Too bad, I was in great headache, so we head off to her home earlier. But before we went back, she brought me to Manchester's China Town. I heard my friend saying that China Town over there is the best one among in UK. Too bad, the weather was too cold and I was having headache, so we just strolled around then we headed off to chritsmas market. One of the must visit site during christmas is christmas market. You can feel the festive season excitement and happiness.

She is now studying in Salford University and she stays in student hostel. Both of us shared the same bed and we kept on reflecting back on our old time story.haha~ sounds like auntie, but is good to have such a moment. She kept on saying must do a reunion with other old friends when she back to Malaysia. She told me that her primary school life in TI is the best moment is her study life. All this while, she missed so much.

I only overnight in Manchester one night. The next morning, she prepared breakfast for me. In the first night, her roommate had slept when I back to her hostel. Then during breakfast, she came out and chatting with me. Her roommate is such a warm person and kept on offering me food for breakfast.

After breakfast, we just looked around in town while waiting for my
train. Sightseeing and taking photo of course are the main content of our trip.haha~ We loitered around in the city and even took a photo in front of Eye of Manchester. Frankly speaking, Eye of Malaysia is much more smaller compared with Eyes in UK. sigh~

When the time comes, she sent me off to train station. She was so considerate and kept on reminding me to take care. Alright Kai Nee, I promised you that we will keep in touch forever and of course, I will invite you to my wedding dinner.haha~

ITALY 落难记

I will remember 19/12/2009 forever. This is the day we went to Italy, also was the day where I experience a lot of unforgettable events on the same day. Anyway, the whole exciting journey began on the day before where we took train from Newcastle to London.

18th of Dec, friday evening, 610pm was our train departure time. However, we were still in the cab somewhere around the train station, when the time was 604pm, because it was snowing and road was slippery. We quickly asked the driver to stop by side and we grabbed our luggage bags and ran as fast as we could to the train station. I still remember vividly the scene during that time. I totally can't feel any coldness but only anxiety and shortness of breath. Once we reached the station and knew which platform to go, we grabbed our things and ran. We had to across a bridge to get to the opposite side. OMG, When ascending the slope, I almost fell back as the luggage was heavy, but still I had to be quick. Thank God, we made it. We managed to get on the train on time, but in a truly messy look. She even saw her clinic group member on the same coach and she was so paiseh cause she looked horrible with rambut kusut-masai.haha~ same goes to me.

I thought this was the end of my 'unforgettable' memory. Who knows, more to come on the next day. We overnight in Stansted Airport. Basically I only took a short nap in restaurant. When we get on the plane, I thought that is time for me to get a good rest. I did really have a good sleep at the first few hours of flight, but later on,a lot of things happened after that.

We were supposed to fly to Pisa Florence Airport and reached there by 1145am, but announcement was made in plane that Pisa Airport was closed due to heavy snow and our plane had to revolved on air for few rounds before they finally decided to land on Genoa Airport. Genoa is a beautiful city which located by the seaside. The weather there was sunny and I had not seen sun for long time. I was quite happy that time and thought that we can just take train straight away to Venice without going to Pisa as Pisa was initially just a brief stop in our plan.

We were trapped in the plane for half an hour as they claimed that they were not ready to receive our arrival suddenly. While waiting, we chit chat with an Irish and a few Italians who sat behind us. They told us how should we go to Venice from Genoa. Though they were not so sure, but they said they will provide us help.

After get into the airport, once again we waited for 3 hours for luggage bags as they were shortage of staffs to load our stuff from plane. The difficult part of traveling to Italy is that they do not know English. WE can't communicate with them. Lucky enough, the Italians we met in plane helped us to ask around about when and where we can get our luggage. They were so helpful and even checked for us online what time train is available from Genoa to Venice. He said that there will be a train at 345pm.

By the time we get our luggage bag, it was already 255pm. We quickly rushed to service counter and asked where can we get a bus to train station. Our Italian friends helped us to ask and told us that there will be bus at 3pm in front of airport. We quickly grabbed our bag and ran towards it. So lucky that the bus was still there. We asked the bus driver where should we stop but he did not answer us. We were so blur. Thank God that we found an Italian young man who study in UK. He told us that he was going to train station too, so we can just follow him.

By the time we reached train station, it was already 335pm. Again, we ran to ticket counter. OMG, the queue was long. We had to queue as well. Then I saw the young man just now in bus was lining up to buy train ticket using his Italian credit card from machine. I approached the guy and asked for his help. He just said yes and even told me that will buy ticket for us as he was no rush. While queuing up, we get into a small chat. Wow, he is a Math student in Imperial College and this is cool. He is cute too.haha...

The man in front him did not know to operate the machine well, he even taught him how to operate, so that can reach our turn quicker. Such a nice guy. When was our turn, he failed to get a ticket for us due to some technical error, so I still had to buy ticket manually. Luckily she was still in the queue. Anyway, we really appreciate his help and wanna thank him before he left. He saw us and offered help to buy ticket for us. We were so touched. Without him, we sure can get ticket to Venice as can see that the man in counter really can't speak English. With this young man's help, we finally get our tickets. That time was already 341pm. He said: "Now you got 4 minutes. Run run run." We took the ticket from him and thank him, then we grabbed tight of our luggage bags and rushed to platform 4. That time we even had to climb up staircases with a 10kg and another 15kg luggage bag. She insisted to carry the 15kg bag for me. A big credit for her.haha...

When we reached the platform, we saw the train was still there, but we were not sure whether was that the one. So we just asked around. Badly, no one can speak English. Finally we get a man who can speak English. After seeing our ticket, he said this was the right train. We quickly carried our stuff on train. fuh... after so long hour of rush, finally we made it.

Another problem arouse then. We had to transit twice before we reached Venice but we did not know which station to stop. I saw the man just now. I asked him. He said he will remind me couple minutes before the station. Many thanks to him. He had been so helpful. AFter get off the train at our first transit point, we looked around for the information of next transit train. When we checked, then only we knew that the train had just set off few minutes ago because the train that we took just now reached late. argh....geramnya~

We were unsure what to do next. We saw a train schedule on board and we tried our best to understand it but fail. Again, we asked around and still, they do not understand English. Lucky enough, a young lady approached us and told us how to read the schedule. Another helpful Italian. She told us that next train will be 3 hours later. Oh no, I did not want to wait for next train in the negative degree Celsius. Furthermore, the place was so ulu and looked so scary.

We decided to take next train to Verona then from there to Venice Mestre. Jo said YH did tell her before that Verona is nice city. This was our plan. If we fail to catch any train to Venice on the same night, at least we can still get a safe place to overnight in Verona. We reached Verona and had our dinner there. I had my first ever local pizza and pasta over there but was damn expensive. Then, when I went to WC, I saw two cops went into it also and seems like was talking something secretive to a man in WC (this is a shared WC). A girl that just came in quickly leave when saw this. I also leave it asap. One of the cop smiled at me when I was leaving. Hmm... the two cops are so well build and tall. So man and so yeng, unlike cops here,yaiks.haha...

Finally, we caught the last train to Venice at 10+pm. We were much more relief as now for sure we can reach Venice. Poor her, she had not been sleeping for few nights because of her assignments and now we were trapped in such conditions. She was so restless. I felt so sorry for her. Luckily she managed to get some rest in train. I also fell asleep in train. I awake halfway and I felt that the train was not moving. Then I asked around and a woman said that might be due to the bad weather and our train had to give way to other delayed train first. SO our train stopped there for half an hour. I was a bit scared, scared that they might straight away cancel the journey to Venice and just stop at any nearest station.

Fuh...finally the train started moving but another problem came. I did not know which station to stop. I asked the women who sat behind me. Luckily one of them can speak English and told other women to remind us where to go down. Another helpful Italians. Thank God, after so many obstacles, we finally reached train station at 1230 midnight. That time it was very cold and later we found out that the temperature that time was -11 degree Celsius.

Now our final task was to figure out our hostel's location. Luckily it was near to train station, but still we were scared and trembling, as only 2 girls walked in the midnight searching for hostel. Lastly, we found our hotel and the counter was still open. The moment we went into our room, I was like, so touched as we finally reach hotel and our destination,Venice at 1am. It was such an unforgettable memory that I had during my trip. Well, though travel to Italy with just only 2 girls is dangerous, but it was fun and challenging, especially the one that go through all these with you is your best of best friend. Till now, I still can remember every moment that we had gone through together and I will treasure this friendship forever =)

The unfinished Paris trip

The next day, we really slept till our heart content then only woke up. We had our breakfast in hostel. It was French bread. The hardness of the bread almost can kill a cat. Poor me, with my braces, I can't afford to digest its hard cover. So I only dug out the content of it to makan. haha :p

After check out hostel, we left our luggage bags in store room. Normally backpacker hostel will provide a room for luggage storage for customers after they have checked out. We left our things there and with a backpack, we began our second day Paris trip.

We bought another metro day pass. French seldom can speak or understand English. Today we met her who can speak English. She asked that are we under 26 and we said yes. Then she charged us €3.30 for our day pass. OMG, we had bought expensive ticket yesterday and Jo also got no idea of this even thought this was already her second visit. Never mind, at least still can save €2.50.

The first destination we went was Notre Dame which is famous for Hunchback of Notre Dame in novel by Victor Hugo (Notre Dame = our lady of Paris). It is a sacred building. Since it was Sunday, a lot of people are queuing up to get in there. We only took some photos out there. It started to rain halfway we took photos. Luckily umbrella was by our side and we still can continue with our journey. Then our jojo jiejie's jacket dunno kena what geli thing. We had to stop a while to clean up her jacket. She was so smart. She used her alcohol spray to clean her jacket. No wonder she can get scholarship.

After spending some time here, we planned to take some free tour. Many places in Europe offer free tour for tourists. These tours will bring tourists around and tell them the story behind these places. When the tour ends, tourists will give some tips to the tour guide. We only followed this tour for short while, then we decided to walk on our own, mainly because I can't understand the tour guide's English (my English is poor), partly because we were too obsessed with taking photos till always lag behind the tour and everyone was waiting for us. After dropped off from the tour, we walked around and sightseeing.

We decided to take our lunch in a French local restaurant. We ordered a glass of wine, roast duck and salmon. They tasted good. I like the roast duck. The waiter was so warm and friendly. When we asked one of the waiters to take photo for us, the other waiter even join in the photo.

After lunch, we headed off to famous Louvre Museum. In the rain, we read the map and found our way to the musuem. We even lost but we managed to reach there by asking people around. Wow, the musuem was so big and we wrongly entered the museum from back entrance. When we first saw the reverse triangle, we took a lot of photo with funny posts with it. The other tourists that walked past us also smiled with our acts. haha ;p Anyway, who cares, as long as we enjoyed.

We saw a long long queue at the main entrance. We was like, how come there is always long queue in Paris. Rupa-rupanya all the tourist spots can be entered FOC at the first sunday of month. No wonder the queue was so long. We also joint in the line and after waited for 1 hour, we finally get in there. The entrance led us to the underground of the museum. The museum is huge and I also dunno which way to take.

The museum was filled with crowd. Because of time constraint, we decided to watch certain famous paintings and sculptures then we left. Everybody was heading towards Mona Lisa. Now I know that the painting is so small and we only can see from far, plus layer and layer of people were surrounding the painting. We can even see clearer of Mona Lisa in TV rather than in Louvre Museum. We just took a few photos from far of it then we left to other section. The museum is large and one can spend few days to enjoy all the art collections.

She said that going up of Arch de Triumph was a must not missed event. So we took metro back to Champs Elysees and walked back to the arch. Once again, the queue was long too. Same free tickets available here. We joint the queue too. That time, we were praying that the line can move faster, cause we need to catch flight at 915pm. Luckily, it was our turn after couple minutes. We quickly went in. Wow... We had to climb so many steps to go up there. I nearly had breathing difficulties in there. Nevertheless, we managed to reach up there. We saw a lot of people over there. Gorgeous, the view of the city can be clearly seen from up there. Even though it was just 630pm, but the scene was dim and filled with night lights. It was really worth it to climb up there.

Norte Dame was our last destination before we rushed back to hostel and picked our stuffs, then quickly left. Luckily we managed to reach airport on time and get on our plane on time. fuh... always got excited stuff happening around us. But pity her, because we were so rush, we did not take any dinner. At first we thought that there will be restaurants in there after check in, manatau only have vendor machine. She was so upset and I felt so sorry to her. Sorry, dear.

The plane straight away fly us to Newcastle, the place where she stays and studies. Here come the end of my Paris trip and beginning of my homestay life in Newcastle of 172 Dilston Road. haha...

Thanks for planning this trip and guide me around Paris.

PARIS,here I come

YAHOO... finally we reached Paris Charles de Gaulle at 1020am. It was an hour later as predicted. Never mind, I am still gonna enjoy this trip cukup-cukup. We met a lady in the plane. She is from Turkey but currently she was studying in UK. Not bad, still get to know a new friend, all thanks to Jo's warmness and friendliness. Jo, you are sociable. Trust me.

Then we took train from airport to Paris city center. When we wanna buy tickets, oh gosh, the line was so long. Then we saw vendor machine that sell tickets, we quickly queue up over there. When our turn, then only we know that it only accepts coins and the coin changer machine has broken down. Too bad, we had to queue up like others. By the time we get our tickets, it was already around 12. We reached city center by 1++ pm. Then we went to metro nearby and trying to catch the line to reach our hostel. We walked here and there with 25 kg luggage bags ( mine 15kg and hers 10kg). We were confusing by the sign board and we went to wrong places. We kept on walking and finding. Finally, we managed to find the ticket counter and we bought day pass. It costs €5.80 each.

By referring to map, we changed here and there and finally we reached our hostel. It is a backpacker hostel, named Cliche. After checked in and dropped off the luggage bag, we quickly grab our time and went for sightseeing.

The first spot we went was Paris Christmas market at Champs Elysees. Wow, the street was so busy and full with people. There were a lot of stalls, selling things that mostly I never heard before. I really sampat. haha... Jo bought me banana-chocolata crepe(her favourite) and glue wine(kind of wine that only can be seen in christmas, lucky me). This was the first time i drank this wine and it was hot. The crepe was yummy and we ate with gelojoh. haha.. We sambil makan sambil enjoyed
the street view. Along the street, I can see Fairy Wheel from far and Arch de Triumph at the other end.
We enjoyed our stroll along this street. I can sense the christmas excitements as we can see a lot of christmas decorations along the road. We sambil jalan sambil tangkap gambar, really AIAI gang. haha... We even rushed to middle of road to take the picture of Arch de Triumph (dangerous act, do not copy). It was such a happy moment that I can stroll in Paris street together with my best of best friend.

We walked till the arch and took uncountable photos in front of it. Our style, take nothing but photos. We were not allowed to climb the arch that time as it was closed. Too bad. She said that the view from up there is very nice. So, we walked back to the christmas market just now and we took another round of photos as that time it was already dark and lights were on. The night view of the street was even much more beautiful. Though it was cold, both of us were so enjoying the atmosphere and scenery over there.

Then, we took metro to Eifeel tower. It was such a beautiful creation of human beings, especially when under the shining of light. Once again, photo time. Even though that time the weather was damn cold and it started to raining dizzily, but we were never reluctant to stop taking photo. haha... At first we planned to take the lift up to Eiffel Tower, but after looking at the queue, we gave up. OMG, the line was 1.5km long. I really got no patience to wait for my turn despite such cold
weather. We headed off to hostel for rest after such a long day. We were being placed in a 3-bed room with attached bathroom and toilet, but we got no roommates. Lucky us ;p I called it a day for my first day in Paris. GOODNigHt,Paris.
